The Vital Importance of Mental Health
Consistent with the views of credible organizations such as the National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH) and the World Health Organization (WHO), mental health is important for the following reasons:
Mental Health and physical well-being: Taking care of our mental health is good for our bodies too. When our mind isn’t doing well, it can cause our body to become ill.Mental health and productivity: When our mental health is good, we think more clearly, make better decisions, and get things done more efficiently.Mental health and socialization: Good mental health and a positive mental state helps us connect better with friends and family, resulting in a happier social life.Economic Impact: From a broader perspective, when everyone’s mental health is a priority, people miss fewer days at work and spend less on medical bills. This is good for state and federal budgets allowing for the money to be allocated elsewhere. We are worldwide non-profit charity
